Their Eyes Were Watching God

This is the closest thing to a romance novel that I have ever read, and it was great! I don't read many books that are classified "romance." While there is romance in almost everything I read it does not take a predominate role. I read books for history, philosophy, language, imagery, geography, culture, etc. Hurston, however, has opened up the possibility of reading for romance, because I really liked Jainie's story of finding true love.
